Terms and Conditions

Delivery of Services: Each service provided can be delivered either by; phone, internet, face-to-face or a combination, with the exception of the two experiences. Depending on the location of the client, the services to be provided may incur a traveling cost for face-to-face consultations. Refer to the Traveling Costs information.

Traveling Costs:If possible, a travel cost will not be passed on to the client. Please refer to the following:
One-to-one consultations that are located further than 20 kilometres from Byron Bay and, under 50 kilometres from Byron Bay, incur a travelling fee of $50.00 in total. Examples of these locations are Ballina, Lismore, Ocean Shores
One-to-one consultations that are located further than 50 kilometres please phone as I endeavour to avoid charging travelling costs.

Payment: All prices are in Australian Dollars and all payments can be received by PayPal or Direct Deposit. For overseas clients, payment and the exchange rate is set by PayPal. Full payment is required prior to all services, with the exception of clients who have pre-arranged to make part payments. Part payments are to be paid by Direct Deposit and a minimum of 20% of the total price must be paid prior to the commencement of services.

Cancellation/Rescheduling and Refund Policy – Consultations and Experiences: Full refunds will be made if cancellation is received from the client, 48 hours in advance of the commencement time. A 50% refund will be made if cancellation is received 24 hours in advance of the commencement time. If cancellation is received in within 24 hours of the commencement date, there will be no refund. As life is busy and “things come up” and the client needs to reschedule, a minimum of 24 hours is required. All efforts will be made to accommodate the client to a mutually suitable time. If rescheduling is under 24 hours, there will be no refund. If Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach is forced to cancel, payment will be refunded within five days and the client will be notified of the cancellation as soon as possible.

Cancellation/Rescheduling and Refund Policy – Programs and Workshops: Full refunds will be made if cancellation is received from the client, ten working days, in advance of the commencement date. A 50% refund will be made if cancellation is received from the client five working days in advance of the commencement date. If cancellation is received in within 24 hours of the commencement date, there will be no refund. Dates: Requested dates for services are not guaranteed until the client completes the Booking Form and payment has been submitted. Once received an email and/or phone will confirm the booking.

Weather: Michelle Winrow, the authentic wellness coach operates in all weather, for the outdoor experiences. However, Michelle Winrow, the authentic wellness coach may amend the place or route of walks if weather circumstances require it. Walks may be canceled due to poor weather by mutual agreement. No costs are incurred by participants if this occurs.

Vouchers: Vouchers cannot be extended past their validity date of one year, however, they can be transferred to another person. At all times, the utmost date flexibility is maintained to redeem the vouchers.

Public Liability: To the extent permitted by law, Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach disclaims liability for loss or damage sustained by any client or third party, whether to person or property, arising from services provided. Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach has adequate insurance coverage and evidence of such coverage can be provided if requested.

Responsiveness: Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach will provide punctual, courteous, accurate and efficient services, meeting the stated goals of the services provided.

Delivery of the Service: Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach acknowledges the responsibilities to meet (or exceed) the expectations of all clients to the best of their ability. Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach will present their services so as to ensure an outstanding and excellent client experience.

Non-discrimination: Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach advocates for equality for all, and shall treat all clients fairly and equitably.

Business Ethics: Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach eliminates any practices that could be damaging to clients or to the dignity and integrity of the Australian Health Promotion sector.

Advertising and the Provision of Information: Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach ensures all advertising and promotional activities accurately reflect the activities of the business.

Disclosure: All, Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach clients have access via the public website to the Terms and Conditions of services provided and this Codes of Practice Information.

Receiving Payments: Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach will ensure that all monies received as a deposit for goods or services to be supplied in the future will be receipted.

Health and Safety: Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach will exercise their duty of care to address client safety and comfort. Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach will also identify potential hazards and risks that exist within the business and assess methods of preventing and minimising them on a regular basis. Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach has WH&S experience/qualifications and holds a current Australian Red Cross First Aid qualification.

Customer Confidentiality: Accredited businesses, unless required by law, will not provide information concerning an individual client to another entity which breaches a client’s right to privacy.

Complaints and Disputes: Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach will deal with all concerns and queries fairly, amicably and in a timely manner. Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach will provide a system that facilitates effective communication with the client, in the event of a client concern or complaint.

Privacy: In performing the services, Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach complies with the Australian Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Act 1988(Cth) and the Privacy Regulation 2013(Cth).

Client Information: Any information maintained by Michelle Winrow – the authentic wellness coach is gathered and used solely for the conduct of the services provided and will be kept and filed securely either on a security password computer or a locked filing cabinet.
